Irish Moss Herbal Tea

Irish moss is a type of seaweed. It contains 92 minerals out of the 102 minerals the human body requires. It carries no colour and relatively no taste while providing a lot of fibre, protein, trace minerals and nutrients. This herb can be used as a food thickener. It is known to soothe mucous membranes throughout the body, is a mild laxative, antioxidant, high in iodine. Used externally it softens and soothes the skin.

This herb should be used in conjunction with a nutritive diet and not take the place of a nutritive diet. Not recommended during pregnancy.
